| Our primary focus is to breed Cartujano horses with great character, correct conformation, excellent movements, and an aptitude for classical dressage. We have been involved with horses for many years and were introduced to the magnificent horses of Spain while living in Europe. Impressed by their presence, athleticism, and character we were hooked from day one and soon befriended breeders in both Spain and Germany. Learning as much as we could about these wonderful horses, we attended multiple shows and training seminars including SICAB (the Spanish Horse finals Seville, Spain) and took advantage of the opportunity to observe hundreds of horses before choosing our first. We have presented horses in stallion, mare, and foal inspections conducted by both the Cria Caballar (Spanish Stud Book) and the Rheinland-Pfalz-Saar e.V. in Germany. To date, all horses we have presented were approved. We were blessed to meet several breeders that made it possible for us to obtain our foundation stock. Thank you Peter and Gisela Engel of Los Pavos Reales in Germany, and in Spain Sr. Manuel Danvila Diaz De Isla of Yeguada Quintanilla and Vicente Martinez-Orti of Martinez-Boloix farms. |
